Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers Body DesignsA. U-PanelThis construction method employs a U-shaped section plus 2 square side panels forming its cube shape. This is a universal type bag that has many applications. The U-Panel bag has 4 lifting loops that are integrated down the vertical seams. Fabric used can be UV stabilized and are completely recyclable. B. Circular BagsThese particular bags are woven on a circular loom resulting in no seams along the sides. Circular bags hold more volume than the U-Panel type, but given it's structural nature the result is a more tubular shape when filled. The lifting loops are typically stitched half-way down the side of the bag and a bottom panel is sewn on to complete the container. Fabric used can be UV stabilized and are completely recyclable. This is an economic solution for your bulk storage needs. C. Baffle Bags D. Double Wall DesignThe Double Wall design offers a higher level of protection due to its second layer of fabric used throughout its construction. If the bag is snagged while transporting your product you will have the advantage of the second layer to keep the payload in the bag. The dual layer enables the fabric to be a lighter weight wile maintaining the strength characteristics of a heavier material. For example a double wall bag with a fabric weight of 2.8 oz/sq” would have more than the equivalent strength of a single wall bag with a fabric weight of 5.9 oz/sq”. Using a lighter fabric also reduces the overall cost, giving you both strength and cost effectiveness. Below are the following options that can be incorporated into the FIBC.Features and Options:FIBC sizes available: The standard base dimensions are 16.5” x 16.5” to 60” x 60”. Weight capacity: The bulk bags have an assorted range of weight capacity. Which include 200#, 1100#, 2200#, 4400#, and 5500#.
Identification: Document pouches can be sewn on various positions of the bag for ease of use and to keep your documents protected from the elements. Custom printing can also be ordered in 3 colors and on 1, 2, 3, or 4 sides of the bag. This can include your company's logo or product codes, etc. Body Fabric: The material used in the construction of the FIBC is a woven polypropylene or polyethylene. Depending on the Work Load (SWL), the weights of the fabric can range from 70 GM/SQM to 300GM/SQM. The weave is available Coated or Non-coated. What distinguishes the two the bags is it's ability to breath. Coated fabric creates a non-permeable barrier, while Non-coated allows air to pass through its weave. Liner: The standard liners are made of 3.5 mil polyethylene, but we offer the liners in a wide variety of thicknesses. Liners are inert and non-toxic, and they can be installed loose and unattached or glued or sewn to the body of the FIBC.
