Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers

Litco Presswood BAG palletsLitco offers you a wide assortment of FIBC bulk bags. Your options range from economical, single-point lift style to custom made FIBC designed to meet your specific lifting / containment requirements. Fabricated using woven polypropylene or polyethylene, flexible bulk containers offer you a cost effective alternative to corrugated totes, gaylord bins, drums, crates and other containers.

Body Designs

A. U-Panel

This construction method employs a U-shaped section plus 2 square side panels forming its cube shape.  This is a universal type bag that has many applications.  The U-Panel bag has 4 lifting loops that are integrated down the vertical seams.  Fabric used can be UV stabilized and are completely recyclable.

B. Circular Bags

These particular bags are woven on a circular loom resulting in no seams along the sides.  Circular bags hold more volume than the U-Panel type, but given it's structural nature the result is a more tubular shape when filled.  The lifting loops are typically stitched half-way down the side of the bag and a bottom panel is sewn on to complete the container.   Fabric used can be UV stabilized and are completely recyclable. This is an economic solution for your bulk storage needs.

C. Baffle Bags

Baffle Bag Baffles
This Bag is made to maintain its cube shape after filling, to provide the most efficient use of space.  The inside of the bag features 4 baffles located in the corners that prohibit the sides from bulging.  The baffles have cut outs in them to allow even distribution of product in the corners. This type bag is best suited for products with a low packing density. Its' stability allows the bags to be stacked, making it an easy choice for customers with limited storage capabilities.  All of the components are UV stabilized and recyclable.

D. Double Wall Design

The Double Wall design offers a higher level of protection due to its second layer of fabric used throughout its construction. If the bag is snagged while transporting your product you will have the advantage of the second layer to keep the payload in the bag.  The dual layer enables the fabric to be a lighter weight wile maintaining the strength characteristics of a heavier material.  For example a double wall bag with a fabric weight of 2.8 oz/sq” would have more than the equivalent strength of a single wall bag with a fabric weight of 5.9 oz/sq”. Using a lighter fabric also reduces the overall cost, giving you both strength and cost effectiveness.

Below are the following options that can be incorporated into the FIBC.

Litco Presswood BAG PalletsLifting Options:  Litco Int’l offers the 4 point corner lift, the most common method.  These are webbing straps located in the corners for easy lifting using Forklifts.  We also provide the economical single point lift which integrates the body of the bag as a lifting point.  Specialty custom lifting points are also available, depending on the customers’ needs and applications.

Identification:  Document pouches can be sewn on various positions of the bag for ease of use and to keep your documents protected from the elements.  Custom printing can also be ordered in 3 colors and on 1, 2, 3, or 4 sides of the bag.  This can include your company's logo or product codes, etc.

Body Fabric:  The material used in the construction of the FIBC is a woven polypropylene or polyethylene. Depending on the Work Load (SWL), the weights of the fabric can range from 70 GM/SQM to 300GM/SQM.  The weave is available Coated or Non-coated.  What distinguishes the two the bags is it's ability to breath.  Coated fabric creates a non-permeable barrier, while Non-coated allows air to pass through its weave.

Liner:  The standard liners are made of 3.5 mil polyethylene, but we offer the liners in a wide variety of thicknesses. Liners are inert and non-toxic, and they can be installed loose and unattached or glued or sewn to the body of the FIBC.
