LoadSecure™ rubber matting has been successfully used to reduce the need for lashing down your load. The slip inhibiting effect of LoadSecure ™ rubber mats is especially important for loads that can't handle high contact pressure.

How the LoadSecure™ Load Restraint Non-slip Mat System Works

There are numerous consequences of improperly securing heavy loads during transport. During transportation of goods, acceleration, braking and lateral centrifugal force or vibration generate forces on the actual weight of the load. This can result in the load slipping which can cause accidents, injuries and severe damage to property.

For example, injury to the driver can occur if the load breaks through the front wall of a trailer; it is also dangerous when the truck is being unloaded if the goods have slipped during transportation. Another hazard that may occur is the load falling from the vehicle causing danger to other road users.

By using non-slip mats, the friction force of the goods is in contact with a LoadSecure mat. This significantly increases the coefficient of friction - preventing the load from slipping. A LoadSecure non-slip mat can represent up to 60 % of the required load securing force.
